Pam Marinko

Founder and CEO

As CEO and Founder of Proficient Learning, Pam’s mission is to enable life sciences companies to empower their people to be better at what they do. She strives to live a purposeful life where she takes her team, partners, and clients together on this journey where they ultimately make a difference in patients’ lives.

Her passion for empowering people and helping them achieve more became the core driver of her career journey, and she has immersed herself in leading, coaching, training, and professional development. Her experience in sales goes back to 1988. Specializing in sales and marketing in the life sciences industry presented her with high impact challenges and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients. After taking on roles with increasing responsibility and scope, including account management and training responsibilities, it was the training role where she felt at home.

Pam started a sales training and technology company, Proficient Learning, LLC in 2005, combining all the experience of her work with global pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer, UCB, and AAIPHARMA.

Denise Fullowan

With a high degree of integrity and passion, Denise brings over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sales industry, focused in the life sciences industry.  Denise has partnered with over 50 organizations, implementing training strategy, curriculum development, and the delivery of learning solutions.  At Proficient Learning, she leads a creative and versatile team, overseeing the design, development, delivery, and management of customized training programs on every assigned project.   She is currently responsible for the oversight and implementation of all learning & development, from skills training, business acumen training, leadership development, and coaching on managerial effectiveness. Denise is dedicated to providing superior customer service and high impact solutions in the creation and delivery of all required training programs.  She nurtures the training concepts throughout their evolution to ensure alignment with the strategic intent of the overall brand objectives.  Denise is an active member of the Life Sciences Trainers & Educators Network (LTEN), a coach, and mentors others in the industry.
